Refund and Returns Policy
At Stable Shield, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, this policy explains your rights to return products, request an exchange, or obtain a refund.
- Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
- If you purchased online or by phone, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
- To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (by email or letter) within the 14-day period.
- Once you notify us, you then have 14 days to return the items.
- Conditions for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
- Items must be in the same condition as received.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Please note: Due to health, safety, and product integrity, we cannot accept returns of:
- Opened or part-used paints, coatings, or chemicals.
- Special orders, customised, or bespoke products.
- Clearance or sale items (unless faulty).
- Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
- If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
- Delivery charges are only refunded if the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Exchanges
- We are happy to replace items if they are defective or damaged.
- If you need an exchange, contact us before returning the item to confirm availability.
- Return Shipping
- Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept liability for lost parcels.
- For faulty or incorrect items, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return postage.
- Damaged or Defective Goods
- Any damage or defect must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Please provide order details and, where possible, photos of the issue.
- We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
- How to Arrange a Return
- Contact our Customer Service team at fran@yardandstable.com with your order number and reason for return.
- You will receive a Return Authorisation and instructions.
- Pack the goods securely and return them to the address provided.
